That is one absolutely sick collection. Probably worth the £4100 that it sold for, given the sheer amount of everything included, in addition to that Egret cab and all those seemingly scarcer/rarer games... Local pick-up only on that one, btw, and rightfully so...I would hate to be tasked with trying to ship all that.

I only got 70 pics in before deciding I didn't want to put my cpu through the pain, but that is one frigging sexy collection. I only wish I'd seen it earlier as I may have been tempted (I'd have had the money earlier this week too). Don't suppose anybody could do a zip of the pics by any chance?

The pics don't load for me at work. What type of Egret is it? Egret 29, Egret II, or Egret III?

The Egret isn't worth as much as one might think; surely south of $500 (less in pounds), I'd guess.

So I saw lots of Nintendo branded swag (ugh), loose and beat-up box NES / SNES games, some recent-ish hardware accessories for games consoles, and a lot of PS2 games. I didn't do a price check on the auction since the stuff didn't interest me, but it doesn't seem like a steal to me (especially given that price which comes to closer to $6K USD).

Also, I already had a ton of tabs and multiple Firefox windows open, and my memory usage has dropped from 460+ MB back to 207MB now that I've closed the window. Get a better browser ;)

Not at all. Now that the I'm home I see that it's an Egret 3 (Atomiswave), which is worth FAr more than the other two Egrets. An Egret 29 will run around $700, Egret II around $900, and a nice Egret 3 will run $1500 no problem. They have Tri-Sync monitors, and they never run cheap. If you ever seen one for less than 1K, let me know and I'll buy it then and there.
