Just started collecting for the Dreamcast. :)
Was wondering how many games in total were released in the US (including limited editions and web browsers)? Also, please do not include homebrews.

The official count was 151 If I remember correctly. It's within a couple either way.

You're off by about a hundred. :)
After the release of NHL 2K2, Sega.com posted a .pdf "Dreamcast checklist", listing every US release. It had 248 entries. But there's a few small issues. Notes:
- They listed Sega Swirl, which is erroneous
- They did not list Shenmue LE or Sonic Adventure Limited Edition
- No mention is made of variants (natch)
- They did not include the browser disc or any other non-game release
- Obviously, it doesn't include unlicensed games, such as the GOAT releases
Excluding the latter three considerations, if we take out Sega Swirl, add in Shenmue LE, and discount Sonic Adventure Limited Edition (due to being rental-only), we end up with 248 official, retail releases. A complete collection would also include Sonic Adventure Limited Edition, however many browser discs there were (it ended with version 3.0 but I don't know how many versions were in between), the Sega All-Stars releases, the "hot! new!" reprints, however many demo discs there were, the three Bleemcast discs, the four GOAT releases, Last Hope, Wind and Water: Puzzle Battles, the MP3 player, and various controllers and accessories. The Dreamcast checklist, if you're interested, is no longer on Sega.com, but can be easily found by googling.
