What's a good price range for a complete copy? All I can find are copies for $100+ on eBay.
I hope that's not the only way I can get one.....

There are 2 Yuuyuu Hakusho games on jpn megadrive. I assume you're talking about the "good" one: Yu Yu Hakusho Makyo Toitsusen / Sunset Fighters

If you got a way to bid on Yahoo Japan, there are 2 right now (about to end though) ...

about 55 bucks and one for less than 40 USD.

http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r54475585

cart only for about 70 on JGS

All ballpark prices above don't factor in shipping and or possible middleman fees.

Sorry to derail the thread, but I was wondering about the Super Famicom versions. I've got one I found in a thrift (along with a Dragon Ball Z title) and I was wondering if it was worth anything. I'd assume it was worth the effort of importing it from Japan, anyway. I don't know which one of the four releases it is, my copy is in storage.

The best one for SFC and imho the only one really worth getting on that system is YuuYuu Hakusho Final. The cover art should look like this:

Yeah, I'm talking about the Treasure one.
I would have definately went for Yahoo Japan already, but those middleman fees may pose a problem.
Thanks for your help, though! :)

Well crud, that's not the one I have. Oh well. I guess I need to dig mine out and take a picture. Maybe I'll post it in the "What's It Worth" thread, since I'm considering selling the two carts I have at OVGE, if I can get a decent amount for them.

The other 3 (out of 4):

http://i4.ebayimg.com/02/i/05/35/b6/c6_1.JPG

imho I would only pay 10-25 + shipping for boxed copies of the above 3. For "Final" I'd say 40-60 for a boxed copy. Prices are for someone located in the USA. Obviously you would pay much less on the streets of Japan. =)

$100+ for a mint copy (mint box inlay, mint instructions, promo sheet, mint cart) is ok, but definitely don't pay that much for a copy which is anything less than mint.

It's a great game, I might have to dig it out sometime this week....

If you ever find one at a good price, let me know.
My ideal range is anywhere between $40-$50.

I'm pretty sure this is the one I have. And it's not boxed, it's loose. (It seems next to impossible to find boxed games around here, let alone boxed imports.)

I have one, but missing the instructions. I'm willing to sell it for $40 shipped.
PM if interested.

Thanks, but I'm going to wait until a complete one comes my way. ;)

What's your range? YJ + Middleman sounds cheaper than Ebay in this case. $55 + $12 for commission, $8 for internal shipping & bank xfer sounds like $75 before shipping. The sad thing: that's probably cheaper than you can pick it up for in Akihabara. :|

The most I'd probably go for a copy is $50. How much does Rinkya usually charge?
Does it all depend on the final selling price?

Sorry for the late bump, but I just won a complete copy for $57.78 on eBay from a US seller!
Shipping was "free", so I think I did pretty good.

And here's another bump, about the Super Famicom game. Which one is this one exactly?

It's this one: http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/snes/data/564411.html

Yeah, just called Yuu Yuu Hakusho.

Gamefaqs is your friend. Most of the time, if you know the general title of something (in this case, you know it has have Yuu Yuu Hakusho in the title) you can look it up with that, narrow it down by console, and then just look thru the box art until you find one that matches the cart you have. Doesn't always work, but usually it does.
