ATTN: CANADA CONTINGENT:

Sorry for the very short notice and I don't think you'll see this, but I figured I'd take a shot -

My family and I are about to head out to go to a festival in the Madison Square Park, at Madison & 23rd street. I'll be in my DP T-Shirt.

I'll be heading to DP after we're done at the festval.

IF you see this and IF you're in the area, feel free to say Hi. If I don't see you in NYC, I'll hopefully see you later at NAVA.

Had a great time at my first NAVA. Brought my 16 year old nephew who is now in love with the store.

It was great meeting people from the boards such as Lady Jaye and Phenix who helped me out a lot by bringing the complete Jaws for NES I've been searching for.

Thanks all for a great time. May head up again during the summer.

I was unable to be at the Nava, but I was somehow there because of the "island" webcam.

I did take a bunch of screen captures. I was lucky enough to finally see (I think) Eduardo and his wife because of this Nava... so, thanks DigitalPress !

I won't be at the store Friday but of course you're always welcome to visit. Be sure to mention to Katy and Ryan that you're NAVA friends from Canada so they open up some of the "restricted areas" for you. Like the bathroom :)

Looking forward to seeing you and Sly again. Don't know if I've met Eric or "Phenix" before (?). I'll be there early Saturday so feel free to stop in anytime after 9am. See you then!

"restricted areas" LOL! Funny Joe

Damn...i'm craving be there...oh well...there will be other NAVA meets...i would be there some one day...

I have that weird ISA PC card for Sega Saturn that can make cheats (seems to be release in japan)....anyway...if someone is interested in that thing, let me know.

I am glad I contributed more to the most recent NAVA than I originally intended. I did not think many people would be interested in Pop'n Music [especially because I know my loud controller was contributing to Joe's head pains :-P], but I was glad to be proved wrong. It was also great that Joe just so happened to have Guitarfreaks in the store that everyone played a lot of too [despite it's hellish timing]. We ended up having a Konami themed NAVA with Bemani titles and a MSX out for a majority of the day. I also loved the matches I had with Frankie in Power Stone 1 and Street Fighter Alpha 3. I may of beat you pretty good in Power Stone, but you got your payback in Alpha ;). I was playing so many games and having such a great time I did not even get a chance to run out to White Castle to get some Crave Cases like I usually do. I met a lot of new people and I cannot wait to go to the next NAVA.

This month's Game Boy Camera pictures are posted at http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2135584&id=26107746&l=59a42b15d9. Thank you Michael P for manning the second Game Boy Camera like in previous months.

Thanks for posting those webcam pictures! I was curious where the webcam was pointing all day and sure enough it was looking right at my enormous Pop'n Music controller and snack table.

GREAT event, thanks to everyone who showed up, you made it one of the best NAVAs ever.

Quick synopsis:
- LOADS of stuff brought for trade, great job.
- LOADS of snacks, beer and soda donated, great job.
- People are even bringing their own systems and games, great job.

The photo album of the event is up and I've done a little extra commentary there, check it out!

I agree, it was a fantastic NAVA.

It's a good thing we didn't have to do that 2600 tournament, it was busy enough without it.

Wow, I had no idea you even took pictures of me, sneaky!

Love the commentary; Moo!

I assume this must have been an action shot of my eating an Andy Capps Hot Fry, but damn if it doesn't look like I'm flipping somebody off!

NAVA was fun, I will play more with arcades to gets better, SFA2 with Raj and that other guy.

I'm going to be playing in the cabinets from now on.
I suggest that the next NAVA could have some kind of disco theme, with a DDR tournament...

Thanks again to Ryan "PingvinBlueJeans" for bringing the Mark-III and SG-1000 games, first time I've seen those in action. Also was great to meet Eduardo "opcode," chat about and sample the Colecovision module, and also MSX stuff he had. First I've seen that in person. And I got there late!

I like the pics. Like my transaction pic. Bought a Dreamcast controller and Leathal Enforcers 2 for Genesis.

Another good one of me is the look on my face (6th row down 2nd column) watching "supergoldzero" is awesome. I was in awe at your gamer skills.

This was my first NAVA and I had a great time. Finally met some people that I have been chatting with on the forums for years. Joe, John, Ryan, SlyDC, greg2600, Steve and a few others I forgot the name. All nice and smart people, a joy to spend time talking to. Hope to attend again in the near future...
BTW, I can’t believe that I was caught with the New Kids on the Block cards... Damn hidden cameras... :D

Eduardo, admit it: which New Kid did you want to marry when you were a kid? :P j/k

BTW, how was your room? Did you stay at the La Quinta in Fairfield after all?

It was nice to finally see some DP members :) I must say that all the people I met were very nice with me and it was fun to discuss with them.

I got some nice stuff : a region free xbox 360, and a sega nomad complete and practically new :D
