Hey every one, I got my Raiden Fighters 2 board in today... it seems to be working great but I can't figure out how to changes the settings or get in to test mode. The board came with no jumpers or manual. I did happen to find the manual online but nothing matches up...
There is 2 rows with a set of 2 prongs going down there are about 10 sets to every row this is on the left side, its labled "4P and 3P" almost in the middle is a red switch which seems to do nothing, and on the right side there is a set of 4 prongs that have a R on the right side and a L on the left side.... Those are the only things That look like settings to me. This board seems alot harder to configure then Areo fighters...

Doing a little searching online, this guy may have dip settings if you were to email him. It shows Raiden Fighters 2 halfway down the page, under the pinout & manual section.

I'll try emailing that guy I hope he doesn't charge for it I don't even know where to put the jumpers to the pin out, because i don't know where the pin out is :shameful: unless its that 3P 4P thing (which the manual doesn't say anything about).... I mean i don't want to be charged for the manual i already got it off line that just doesn't really show anything on the board...

No I wouldn't pay for it either. I found the Japanese version of your manual online, it has some English in it, but most is in Japanese. So I can't tell if any of the info was relevant.

Anyway, I'd just see if the guy knows the settings or cal direct you to the right place to look.

I will upload the manual i found online it has a JP1, JP2, SW 1, CN 1, VOL.1 and Vol.2 but nothing on this board is labled any of that and the one switch on the board doesn't reverse the screen because the screen shows up upside down in my cab no matter if its on or off...

manual i found

It replyed with an email error from his server =(

Well, it may not be much help- but the Japanese manual is a bit different. If you scroll down alphabetically you'll find the link to download it. Anyway, best of luck.

The Seibu SPI hardware that Raiden Fighters 2 runs on has a test menu that is accessible via the test button on your arcade machine. You need to hold the button down for about 5 seconds.

Thank to you guys and all your help me and my friend successfully made a test mode switch using a 70cent light switch and some old computer power wires. What happen was pin 15 was already solder the wire on to the harness the pin broke off but we managed to work it in between the board and the harness teeth. Anyway it worked out fine its kind of ghetto rigged but still works :D so anyway here is a pic. Our next project is to get in to the service menu to try to fix the monitor from jumping around. but anyway i wanted to say thanks guys for the help! This is waaaaay new to me so it was cool to try to figure this all out.
