Got a 35 dolla gift card for the ol' gamestop, but not sure what to do.
I'd like to get battery chargers for my 360 and wii (360 play n charge, wii charge station) but I've heard varying degrees of poo about these.
Do I pick them up or just go for a regular energizer/duracell battery charger? If so, which is the best/fastest/longest (Kanye West?) battery charger?
I'm so confused.
Any idears or hot insider tips will be appreciated.
Oh, and are there any Gamestop specials going to be going on soon for games/accessories (wii 360) soon that I should hold off for?

I alternate between using 2 AA batteries in my original battery pack and using the battery pack that came with the official Microsoft battery charger. So far it works fine for me but I have found that the rechargable battery pack last atleast 10 hours longer than the battery pack that I use AA batteries with.

I use the Play and charge cable for my 360. Thing works great, no problems at all. Actually, most of the time I forget to unhook the cable, and just use the controller wired...
For my Wiimotes, I really like the Nyko charger. you have to replace the backs to the Wiimotes, but the new backs have a nice cushioning that makes the Wiimotes easier to hold, and the charge lasts a goodly amount of time. I really like it.

i got the nyko play n charge kit. it's only $30. comes with a dual-charger, two batteries and a play n charge cable. downside is that the batteries are starting to get shorter times between charges, but i've had them since november, so i guess it's not too bad. but when they do die, used ms batteries are $5-10. the upside is that you've still got a dual-batt charger and a playncharge cable that's long enough to stretch to the couch, unlike the ms one.

How did you get the gift card?...
From the gatekeeper. I'm the keymaster.
I got it for my berfday. Out of curiosity, why do you ask? Is there a recent spate of odd gift card tomfoolery going on?
and thanks to all that have helped.

He doesn't really care. If you look at his small number of posts you'll find this is the exception where he actually talks about any pertinent information to the thread. Even though his question is an odd one. His posts come in burts of 4 always, and 99% of the time don't make sense. It's either: a spammer (who has yet to spam), a strange alt account, or a bot. At any rate, there's something odd about him/her/it.

I use Duracell rechargables for everything, the green & black ones. The charger works on either AA or AAA batteries and only takes about 15 minutes. I use them in everything... Wiimotes, GH guitars, Mp3 player, TV remotes, etc. They've been through a lot of charges, esp the Wiimotes, and I haven't noticed any reduced battery life yet.
I think the charger with 4 AA goes on sale for around $20 every few weeks at Target/KMart/etc. I don't remember the price of extra AA or AAA packs but I think they go on sale pretty often too.
