I've seen other people post pictures of their room of dooms and although mine might not be anything special I think I'll give it a go.

I recently got back from my year at college and I reunited my room.
Overall I'm feeling quite good about how I have it arranged this time.

First a tour(ish) of my room.

That's my entire room bascially

Some more intimate parts.

My two extra desktops on my desk. Besides the Mini and the main desktop, I have a P4 workstation for "Just in case" things. The IBM next to it is a P3 server I keep my CSS, zombie mod, and program files stored.

This is where the game systems that I play on a Frequent basis sit. It consists of my Sports Edition Dreamcast, CDX, Xbox 360, PS2, SNES. The NES's are not hooked up currently. Up on the top shelf is a Super Pong IV that my dad's friend gave me.

Here's how I store the biggest portion of my game collection. I know it's not the best way to store carts, but I rarely play atari nowadays and it's mainly SNES and genesis.. so it works out for me. Still, it's a pain to get a cart without a stool. Fortuneatly for me I have one. (Pictured below)

Yup, that's my stool.

The rest of my collection is stored in the Playstation shelving unit that I bought at my local Circuit City. My dreamcast and playstation games are stored in the spin racks above.

This unit is where I store all my contollers and cords.. currently it's crushing itself...

Top of my closet and where I store my Matts/Keyboards. I only have two dancepads (Dreamcast/Gamecube) and a NES matt.

That's also how I store my most used portable consoles.

=====

Lastly, My favorite. I recently upgraded my projector and have it set up in my room.

Here's how it looks.

That's with my computer hooked to it.

It's fun when I get my systems hooked up for play.

Bioshock is amazing to play on a wall...

So that's the tour of my room of doom. I'm open to suggestions anyone has to make it better. It'd be wonderful to hear people's thoughts.

That Playstation shelf unit is nice. Interesting custom shell for the PS2. I didn't recognize it as a PS2 at first glance.

might wanna get the batteries outta those handhelds if you don't plan on using em for a while. wouldn't want a busted batt to ruin one of them.

btw, my computer room is totally jealous of your corner desk and shelves.

You may need to bust out a few walls to create some breathing room, wow.

Nice collection, but do you ever feel like it's all going to topple down on you?=(

Looks good! Put it up on videogamecollectors.com so it will be easier to find in the future.

That's a nice looking collection. Looks like you've used the space very effectively.

Neat setup, I cringed a lot at the high stacking - but I've lived in an earthquake zone for a long time so "Don't put stuff you care about all high up!" has been drilled into me. ;)

I would venture that you worked at Best Buy at one time or another. That is probably where you picked up the cool display rack correct?

Awesome. Both Side Play Pioneer?

Oh my god. I used to have that little Pokeball thing when I was in elementary school. LOL

Nah. I picked up the display rack at Circuit city when they closed for good. The Best Buy sign is really a grand opening flier for a Bloomington, IL Best Buy. It has a copyright of 1997... somehow that seems wrong... but I guess that's 10+ years ago now.

I like how neatly the stacked games at the top look. But what if you want to play one of the games on the bottom, lol. Also, that green shelled PS2 looks alot like my Halo special edition Xbox. Green is my second favorite color so I think it looks mad cool. Although some of your collection looks alittle cramped, you have a nice set up.

Lookin' good there. Do you still have that TG-16 I sent you, by any chance? I'd love to see how it's doing now.

Poor thing is in storage. I have no room for it anymore. As you can see limited area for my consoles. It has to go with what I'm going to play most. Don't worry it's going to be displayed prominently like the rest of my systems when I get a place of my own.

@ SonicWolf: Nope it's a single sided player, but it doubles as a five disk changer.

Ah, man, you've got to get that thing out of storage! Otherwise nice collection!
