NEW Dreamcast game DUX... today is May 20, 2009- 2 weeks to go?

Those of you still following the Dreamcast scene probably know about DUX already. It's a shooter (shmup) from the makers of LAST HOPE.

It was scheduled for release a (long) while back and has had about a billion delays but it seems to be done... I got an e-mail today.

I wasn't that impressed with Last Hope but I have high hopes for DUX and I'm glad someone is still releasing games for the Dreamcast!

I pre-ordered the Limited Edition back in Dec., but after waiting nearly 4 months and seeing the release date pushed back continuously, I just said 'screw it' and spent that money on other much-needed things.

But, that's cool that it's finally coming out. I'll play it one way or another ;)

Is it an officially licensed game? I know that dreamcast has has some trickling JAP releases since it's demise, but this is crazy! It's 2009!!!....Dreamcast owns :D

I was waiting so that I could buy this game together with Wind & Water Puzzle Battles through Play-Asia... then they ran out of stock on W&W and I was pissed off. Then I got an email from them saying it was back in stock. I went to their site and found that DUX still wasn't released, so I was pissed off again.

Hopefully it gets released before they run out of stock on W&W again... I don't want to have to make two separate orders.

Why don't you just place the order for both games now? They will reserve W&W for you since it is in stock, and then whenever Dux finally gets released, they will ship both games out to you. Plus, you can save on shipping by combining shipping when placing one order.
