Edios was saved from their financial difficulties by Square Enix and apparently Midway will be saved too. Warner Bros. made them an offer (http://www.gamedaily.com/articles/news/midway-receives-buyout-offer-from-warner-bros/) they can't refuse. The deal includes the majority of Midway's properties with the exception of the TNA and Wheelman series. Midway needs to jump on this before WB changes their mind.

Midway owns Atari Games, the arcade division of the original pre-1984 Atari. Atari was owned by Warner Brothers. And now Warner is buying a chunk of their past back. I wonder how long until they drive it into the ground like all of their other post-Atari Warner ventures.

i was thinking the same thing,

its really surreal, like how AT&T was broken up but over the years has basically reformed

Looks like the CEO of Midway fucked up when selling it for next to nothing. Hopefully whoever is heading the company turns it around and actually makes it a worthwhile company. Sure Midway has some good releases, like Stranglehold and Unreal 3 as of late.
