Every rom on Mame.dk is split. Merged would be if say the home version of Magician Lord (maglordh.zip) and the arcade rom (maglord.zip) were MERGED to one rom named "maglord.zip". This is not the case at Mame.dk for this rom or any other. And as for reading a post before I answer, I did guy. You said nothing about looking for Neogeo roms for NEORAGEX in your post. The emulator handles very old dumps of the games.

i know, but i said that i'm searching for single roms (understand? there is a difference between roms and zip-files with 10 roms)

You've got to admit that it wasn't clear what you were asking.

I'm afraid you'll probably have to redownload all the complete ROM sets (i.e. a single ZIP file for MAME) since I know of nowhere that allows single ROM downloads. Besides, I'd think that downloading one file is a lot easier than downloading 14 or more separate files. Even if it takes longer in theory, there's no way (assuming you could FIND single ROMs to download) that you'd be able to download them all as fast, unless you had a whole lot of simultaneous downloads at once.

ed sorry to say so but i said i DON'T have a broadband-connection i can not even imagine downloading a 80MB zip-file and that would only be 1 game of 10-15 who have corrupt roms, but thanks for trying to help

Is this the sort of thing that can be fixed by the utilities available at Zophar's (http://www.zophar.net/utilities/ngutil.html)?

no, all roms are fixed to neorage format the problem just is that a lot of the zip files were corrupt and i had to rezip them, but mostly one or two roms in the zip could not be extracted cause they were the corrupt files. e.g. Art Of Fighting 2, just the aof2_s1.rom is missing (100kb)

Tell me what ROMS you need, I'll send the individual files to you as long as there aren't hundreds of 'em :)

Oh, so the CD went bad. (That has yet to happen to me. What a troubling thought.)

I don't suppose ISO Buster could be of any use, then?

This happened to me once. I backup up all the Neo roms to cd's back when I had to download them on a 56k. Months later I reloaded my hard drive. I formatted it thinking "No problem, I have the roms backed up". Then I went to pull the zips off the cd's. I'm not sure exactly what had happened, butthe zips were listed as being on the cd's but were ALL corrupt. Needless to say it took me a LONG time to get them again (downloading on dialup mind you). The lesson I learned from then on is to run a zip integrity test on the burned cd right off the bat!

80MB ROMs are certainly a different thing. I don't remember what site it was (was it MAME?) but once upon a time you could browse to search for an individual file within an archive.

It would be nice if somebody put up some of MAME's larger archives so that you could download individual files, but that hasn't happened yet. :/

Anyways, best bet is to ask one of these guys.

You were logged in right? I haven't tried it yet myself, but I did download all of the roms I needed for the current version of mame on Monday I believe.
