Does anyone know of a way to remove a scratch from an original Game Boy screen? I just bought one recently and it's in perfect condition apart from one very small scratch on the screen. I'd like to try to repair this if possible but I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle or not?

I've already cleaned the screen so I know it's definitely a scratch, not dirt or dust. I've used a polishing cloth (without any polish) but this hasn't done anything.

I guess what I'm looking for is maybe some slightly abrasive polish or something similar. If anyone has tried something like that please let me know what you used and how it turned out. I don't want to end up with a dulled or very shiny area on the screen so I thought I'd ask here before trying anything.

You may as well buy a Original Gameboy replacement screen from ebay. It is very easy to replace and costs less than buying a polishing compound (like Novus #1,2,3).

I assume your talking about the screen cover? The classic game store near me sells replacement screen covers for really cheap. If you have one near you it's worth a look. Otherwise eBay has them. It's as simple as peeling off the old screen cover(with a dull pocket knife or something similar), peeling the paper off the adhesive back of the new cover and pressing it in place. Just make sure you don't get dust, fingerprints, etc... on the actual screen while the cover is off. Couldn't be simpler.

Thanks for your help, guys. I'll see if I can find one of those replacement screen covers on eBay. :)
