Best Wii game out now???

What do you guys and gals think is the best Wii title out right now. It's been out a few years now, so we have a pretty good stack of games to choose from.

For me, it's between Zelda and Metroid. I think I got to take Metroid though. Maybe because I played Metroid second, but it was such a great gaming experience, and it really took the Wii controls into full effect. (it should have, since it's an FPS)

I'll go with Galaxy purely because that's what I've spent the most amount of time playing. Brawl, for all its faults, ain't that far behind though. Never really got into Zelda or Metroid as much as their Gamecube counterparts.

Galaxy is my favorite game for the Wii, but I haven't played everything.

I'll throw an honorable mention to Zack and Wiki. I was really into that game, and I wish more people had played it.

Super Smash Brothers: Brawl, it's the reason I bought a Wii, and still the game that spends the most time in the system. SMG is a close runner up though. :)

Hehe. Yes, the highest rated Wii game by critics is Super Mario Galaxy, followed by Twilight Princess, Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and Okami.

The Wii games I've spent the most time playing are Dr. Mario Online Rx (WiiWare), Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection, and Mario Kart Wii. I've also been enjoying de Blob recently.

Sure, Super Mario Galaxy has the highest rating, and it IS good, though it takes a small hit in my book for it being a galactic-scale pain in the ass (pardon the pun) to get Luigi unlocked.

So, my vote goes to the OTHER port, Klonoa. Sure, it's easy (especially if you spent most of your life playing platformers), but it's a beautiful game. Also, it's fun, and it's only $30.

While on the subject of platformers, I'm still holding out hope for Pulseman to hit the US Virtual Console.

My inclination is to say, Super Mario Galaxy...but I could only play it for an hour or two before I got bored (my fault...not the game's). Smash brothers and Mario Kart are so like their Gamecube versions (but slightly prettier), I hesitate to even consider them. Hmmm.

I guess I'd say Twilight Princess...then again those wolf stages were god awful. Still a great game when you actually get to play as Link.

1. Metroid Prime 3 - almost perfect in every way
2. Zelda: TP - might be my #1 if it weren't for the nunchuck spin attack (and general tacked on waggle)
3. RE: Umbrella Chronicles - finally, a light gun-style game designed for a home console
4. Mario Galaxy - creative and fun
5. Zack & Wiki - nice to see the adventure come back - humorous and challenging

Punch Out - just started playing it a few days ago, but really fun so far

I couldn't stand Brawl, and ended up selling it on ebay after a few weeks. Most overrated game of this gen.

Oh god. 'Slash the wiimote like a sword to make the dog do a forward attack. I can't help but feel that TP on the Gamecube is infinitely superior to its bigger brother.

Incidentally I switched on my Wii for the first time in 60 days today and banged away at a bit of Smash bros.

...And 35 minutes later, it was back in hibernation. How exactly is this console outselling everything again?

Pikmin 2 (New Play Control) is already out in Japan, Europe, and Australia. No date for the U.S. yet. :(

Boom Blox Bash Party has been receiving great review scores - 8.8 out of 10 overall.
