I doubt you'll get many people wanting to buy that as a package. Fans of this series probably already have most of that and just need 1 or 2 things.

I'm a player rather than a collector, if you decide to split things up I'd take your used Castlevania: Circle of the Moon off your hands for $10 plus a couple for shipping. I own the last two GBA releases, and have no interest in a portable version of CV1 when I have the NES cart right there.

Hopefully you don't need to split things up though since you obviously want to sell it as a bundle.

Yeah, I'll get right on that $10, homie!

I mean, with them selling for $50+ (http://cgi.ebay.com/Castlevania-Circle-of-the-moon-GBA-DS-PAL-COMPLETE_W0QQitemZ250435650176QQcmdZViewItemQQptZA U_PC_Video_Games_Games?hash=item3a4f20c280&_trksid=p3286.m20.l1116), why not take your offer of $10?

The places I looked at, used carts of that title were going for around $10. Was a fair and polite offer that wasn't disrespectful in my opinion.

Two things:
1) that was kind of a dick response, and
2) there are plenty of completed auctions on ebay.com with a price around $10.00. The auction you referenced was for Australia. I don't know why that one hit $50, but most don't.

If you have a price in mind, and you obviously seem to, why not just post it.

Its a COMPLETE copy!

Not the bare cart.

Stop the (digit) press!

I got my complete copy for $10 + shipping, which is about what it always seems to go for, maybe just SLIGHTLY less. In fact, I got all 3 of the GBA ones for around $15 shipped a piece.

It's funny how the people who get defensive, or laugh about offers, are generally completely out of touch with the value of their item. Any time someone is selling for a fair price and doesn't like an offer, I see them politely decline.

For some reason, Diosoth came to mind when I read that. LOL

Just searched Ebay...came across:

MINT

The MINT copy sold for $25 (though calling it mint in the condition it's in is debatable) while the used copy went for around $12 CIB.

Yup, don't expect $50 for your copies.

Selling is one thing...SOLD is another. That listing will never sell, due to it's high price.

Well, I should never say never...some unsuspecting sap will probably pony up the cash. Still, it's not in the majority

Oh, and the guy says it's the PAL version, when it's clearly the NTSC version. Yup, I am really trusting the seller!

OK, thats great! - but if I sold them for $15 a pop (minus the NES one) I'd be a moron.

They are worth more. $25-55 for each game, complete.

I don't use ebay as the end all reference.

But, they (Circle of the Moon) are ending at around $25 average.

Harmony of Dissonance is a $35 average.

Aria of Sorrow about $28 on average.

I felt that $10 was an insult. 50% less than its going rate. I'm completely "in touch" with prices, buddy. I don't nickle dime people. I'm not super worried about $10 - thats not the point. I don't need someone coming in MY thread and telling me what is going on with the Castlevania GBA games. I've owned these for a long time - and always keep up to date prices in my head.

For some reason, Diosoth came to mind when I read that. LOL

Yay!

Oh, I agree - but I used that as a reference, just as you guys used the lower valued ones as yours.

If you don't like my prices - go to ebay.

I'm one of the most respected people in the videogame scene to do business with.

You'll have to excuse my "up front" attitude.

Plus there are a lot of members here that can vouch for my integrity.

Not trying to make enemies with you guys.

I don't post here that often...

Yeah, I agree $10 is a little low for an opened CIB copy. I would say perhaps $15 for the first game, and $20 for the others.

I think you can get $50 or so for the opened CIB copies. For the sealed copies, maybe get around $10 per copy...So maybe between $70-$80 for the first three games.

I suggest this: make a mean out of every price you see under the COMPLETED listings that follow the condition your items follow. For example, check sealed completed items for the first Castlevania, take all prices and divide that by the number of copies. You now have an average price. I do this whenever I do a bid. Sometimes, the price might be very high because of desperate ebayers...other times it goes way too low. Other times, it's just right... (I sound like a story book here LOL)

EDIT: Just realized you mentioned the average thing above. :) Sorry about that. :)

Eventually you will find a sale. I suggest advertising like mad around the 'net. It usually helps achieve your desired goal (like that Spiderman that went for $75 for SMS...WOWZERS! It usually goes for like $35!)

Wish you luck, though. :)

Ok I was bored and calculated averages for the sames according to succesfull completed listings on Ebay:

Aria of Sorrow................$24.6825
Harmony of Dissonance....$31.402
Circle of the Moon...........$18.594

Total average.................$74.6785

You can put the CIB opened copies for $75...maybe with free shipping to entice a sale.

For sealed copies, maybe reach $100 with free shipping.

I am NOT including the GBA remake/port of the NES game.

Yes, however I admit that I just toss a number out. I can't be certain since there are no completed listings that were "factory sealed" (or I may have miss them). The only ones I found were opened copies.

The sealed values might be higher...or lower. Since there is no actual way to determine this via Ebay, I can't give fair judgement.

However, the opened CIB copies values were taken off averages on Ebay (completed, not "unsold"). I feel you have a great shot at putting them for sale on Ebay for $75 and with free shipping. Eventually a buyer will come and buy the lot from you.

Just checked the NES Classic version...it didn't even sell for $12 CIB! So I can't give a fair value, but seeing it did not even fetch $12, perhaps place it at $10 CIB (opened). $85 for the CIB opened lot.

I would keep it at $75 anyway (all four opened CIB games) with free shipping. Entices a quick sale.

Good luck on the sale!

Thats kind of in the offer range I was expecting.

But the sealed copies go for a lot more.

On average, $85 a piece - very had to come by in some instances.

I saw a Harmony of Dissonance go for $120, and another go for $90

Circle of the Moon - $70 for one and $110 for another.

Same for Aria - $60 - $100.

I'll end up keeping those.

How rude, you lost 95% of your theoretical buyers there.

And the remaining 5% with the rest of the thread.

But don't worry there's worse out there:

Some people just think they have extremely rare games, just because they're Castlevania. I'd feel less ashamed asking 1000$ for a loose Castlevania for Amiga.
