Look at his feedback and see what he's already bid on AND paid for. Who is this guy? My hero!

Maybe he owns a store. A lot of vintage dealers now buy their stuff on eBay.

Bling Bling!!

I wouldn't say he/she's the smartest of buyers though.

Some of those purchases are ridiculous... O_O

Still, I guess if you have Lesotho's GNP in your pocket...

My thoughts exactly. I *hope* thats the reason anyway.

Or he's just a kid that got a brand new credit card....Seriously, I've known more than one collector who blew their entire credit card limit within a very short period of time.

I dont know if its a business. He has bought a lot of marques and tabletop games for high prices. And he/she has lost alot of big game lots.

Maybe they got an inheritance?

I don't know what's up with this person, but when they get their DPG they'll probably be pretty upset to see how much they've overpaid.

On the other hand, if you depend on EBay for most of this stuff, you KNOW you're going to overpay more often then not. (I always do) It just comes with balancing when you might see something again vs what it's worth to you.

Besides, the DP guide is nice....as a guide. :) More often then not I see thing sell for higher then listed.

And commonly I see them sell for much less than listed. I don't pay much attention at all to the DP prices.
