how rare is it really? I know it has to be rarer than the R2 the DP guide gives it... it rarely shows up on ebay, and it never shows up there factory sealed... I finally found a sealed copy on Amazon for $90... and I figure that it's quite possibly the last sealed copy in existence... so before I open it, I'm curious what the likelihood is that's the case, and if so, what's it really worth sealed? would anyone else be willing to pay what I had to pay for a sealed copy of it?
I also got a sealed copy of Tigger's Honey Hunt, and I'm wondering what's the difference between the regular version of it and the collector's version? the version I got is the regular version, and I'm not sure I'm gonna bother trying to track down the collector's version as well, but I'm still wondering what else was included with them... there seemed to be a trend towards the end of the PS1's lifespan of every new game being available in regular and collector's versions, as I know NASCAR Rumble was another one like that, but I dunno what the differences were nor how limited their availability was

The collectors version of Tiggers Honey Hunt came in the Collectors Edition pack that was released late in the PlayStations life. There is no difference to the game, just that it was sold in a 3 pack with a slipcover and a 'new' manual that had the Collectors Edition on it.
There were a bunch of those packs released, and EA released most of them.
There is no way that i'd pay 90 for a sealed Pink Panther. I highly doubt that it will ever have enough people care about it to get a return on that investment you just made there. I'm sure you'll be glad to know that I bought my copy new (and it might still be sealed, I don't remember) for a HUGE 9 bucks.

Pink Panther wasn't really rare, just absolutely under-the-radar-no-one-gave-a-shit release late in the PSone's life.
As for the collector's editions - the only thing collector about them was that they were in a 3 pack of games.
That's it.

HMM... well if it isn't really rare, and nobody gives a shit about it, then why isn't ebay constantly flooded with it, like every sports game ever made is? on the very rare occaisions that it does show up on ebay, it's usually the UK PAL version, and it's always used... so that doesn't make it sound very common to me... common games are always available by the truckload on ebay, and it's never hard to find them factory sealed... so where's the warehouse full of sealed copies like mine? located right next to the one full of used copies? if the US version of this game isn't rare, then it's almost surely being hoarded!

Probably a low print run. Definately uncommon, and definately a game that not many people are going to track down. Low demand and definately low supply. Mark this one on the "game characters that almost nobody care about"

What part of "no one gave a crap" wasn't understood? It was a low print run of a game nobody knew about that wasn't really sold anywhere. There's probably a warehouse full of them somewhere. Like Stu, I bought mine for $9 to 10 off of eBay a few years ago. It's worth about that much.
Just because OMG there's none anywhere doesn't make it rare. 9_9

That's a shame that that particular game is so underappreciated. That's a pretty good game when you get into it.

Exactly. Just because something is rare or hard to find doesn't mean it's valuable. Some things people just don't want and therefore, nobody bothers listing them on Ebay or anywhere else. I would actually feel sorry for the OP for wasting his money on this, but I guess I should really feel bad for his parents since they always pay his bills.

In this case, it's not even that the game is rare but worthless. It's not very rare and worthless. The game is so unpopular it's not worth selling on ebay.
