Multijugador?

MULTIJUGADOR!!!

That's it, consider it bought. Even though i'm just guessing what that means and really truely have no fucking clue.

Nice first gameplay vids though for sure.

Multijugador = multiplayer. OH YEAH

I dunno, all this high intensity realism is starting to turn my stomach. I must also be pretty jaded (in another department anyway) because I'm finding it kind of hard to look at those screens due to the aliasing alone... ^^;

Those screen shots are gorgeous. I especially like the lighting effects. I can't wait to destroy the marines as the Predator.

Hope it's good.

Rebellion can be really spotty depending on which team is doing the work. I mean, for every Renegade Squadron, Alien vs Predator, Rogue Trooper or Sniper Elite they knock out a Shellshock 2, Iron Storm, Miami Vice, From Russia With Love, etc :(

Skip to 4:30 mark of this video interview and listen to the multiplayer modes that will be available, sounds pretty good!

I really can't believe more people aren't hyped up for this game. Anyone who played Rebellion's previous AvP games should know they are more than capable.

Btw, new gameplay vid. The more I see it the better it looks.

I just played the multiplayer demo over Xbox live. While it was amusing, I unfortunatly got stuck playing as a Marine. The best advice I can give you is to keep your flashlight turned off. You don't need it much and it will just give away your position anyway. Not that it matters because the Aliens and Predators can see no matter how much light is or isn't in a room. I wonder how the single player gameplay is.

I played a match as well. It was a fun little diversion, but I can't see myself playing it for very long. I was a predator, and you basically had to hope to either sneak up on them to get and instant kill (press X) or get in a stun hit so you can do a finishing move. It was pretty blah really.

Not sure about the 360 version but the ps3 version is next to impossible to connect to with the matchmaking, though Rebellion has already stated that the full game will have searching and game creation outside of just matchmaking and it will also be fixed.

That being said, I have been able to connect "twice" lol. Out of those two times though it is pretty cool imo and I really like it. It won't be everyones cup of tea for sure, it has some poor collision detection at times and the gameplay is a bit cumbersome.

The reason I like it is the sheer sense of being chased by someone who is an Alien, it's really cool. I was a Marine and being chased by three Aliens, when I started firing at them while backing up they scattered into holes in the walls and ceilings and I got a real adrenaline rush from it. I also love the motion tracker, heh.

The game seems a bit rushed and not exactly as polished as I had imagined but the gameplay seems to be on par with Left 4 Dead and the original Aliens games so i'll be picking it up cause it's fun to me.

The game seems a bit rushed and not exactly as polished as I had imagined.

I have to agree with that. Although I only played the multiplayer demo for a bit, the game didn't come across as what they were building it up to be. And maybe it's because the demo was in a dark atmosphere but the in-game graphics didn't look as nice as the screen shots above. They still have alittle bit of time to give it some more polish before release day so I will stay tuned.

Ratings are a mixed bag on this one. While two of the major outlets (Gamespot and Game Informer) pretty much bashed the game (5.5-5.8) other reviewers "especially abroad" like (IGN UK and Playstation Australia) gave it very favorable reviews (8.5-9.0). Ign stateside also gave it a decent review (7.0). I figured this game would be pretty niche and I have to say, if you like Aliens or Predators get this game!

The controls take a bit to get used to but once you do it's very fun frantic stuff, especially on 18 player maps! I suggest playing single player to get a tutorial on each species controls. I have only played into the Alien campaign a little "gotta work tomorrow" but it is done very well! Like the first Halo you are strapped in a lab and being tested, the CGI is well done and looks pretty good and the game has a pretty polished look and little details like swiping the floor and leaving claw prints is very nice.

Also the Gamespot and Game Informer reviews are bullshit, I question if they actually played it, honestly. Just so you know to you Aliens fans out there "Bishop" is in the game....yes Karl Bishop Weyland, so the story is not generic!

I will admit one thing, it's a pretty nasty game. You can whack on bodies "as an Alien" in singleplayer when an npc dies and explode their head and legs/arms, ragdoll physics galore :). Also there are like 4 kill animations "I know of" that are pretty over the top in execution. Not one for the kiddies.

I definetely recommend this to any fan or would be fan.
