I actually still see those at some stores around me, fry's for example. It might not have all 6 of them, and I know I've never seen XENOGEARS or FF9 at frys. Might pick up a few of those GH titles. Thanks. :)

In for a Xenogears, as it's reasonable. I either have or can borrow the others.
However, I noticed Digital River is handling the order fulfillment, and after the fiasco with the Phoenix Wright games, I'm a little concerned as to whether I will ever see the damn thing actually ship.

I ordered Xenogears, and received this email a few hours later:
Thank you for ordering on Square-Enix, Inc.. Unfortunately, one or more of the products you ordered is currently out of stock and could not be shipped. The product(s) has been placed on backorder and will be shipped as soon as stock becomes available. You will receive another email notification when your order has actually shipped.
Looks like it's a no go.

Doesn't Xenogears GH sell on eBay for $50? Wanna bet someone bought all the existing stock to resell there? Ugh. :|
That's the cheapest you'll find the game anywhere from now on. :|

Apologies for the thread necromancy, but my order has been cancelled, my money refunded, and Xenogears removed from the site.
Back when Phoenix Wright 3 came out, I waited about 3 weeks for a shipping confirmation, then the game came out in stores. I cancelled the order and bought it from Gamestop. Then, 2 days later, Phoenix Wright shows up at my post office. ARGH!
Apparently, when you cancel yourself, the order is expedited, and when it's cancelled for you without asking, it's actually cancelled.
Digital River sucks. Discuss.

Those are all good prices if s/h isn't killer on them. I tend to see them at $20+s/h. Real shame about Xenogears... but damn straight I'd buy them out if they had em at that price. I'M THE REASON NO ONE CAN HAVE NICE THINGS!!! Muwahahahaa!!!

I can only imagine that the first person who noticed Xenogears for sale put in an order for some astronomical number (like 1,000 copies). Then just paid for as many as Square-Enix could ship out.

they dont look as bad in a collection if they are placed at the tail end of the shelf
I just picked up Origins and Chronicles used from Ebay (for these same prices) but not the Greatest Hits editions. I couldn't bring myself to own any of those fugly reprints.
I have been playing through Final Fantasy I and it is great. A few days ago, I tried the copy of Dawn of Souls I own and it was horrible. There is no point to playing the GBA version. I literally got my pirate ship and hit level 7 within 10 minutes without even trying. There is zero chance of death. It's ridiculous. The mana system allows you virtually infinite magic spells which made everything even easier. I packed that cart up and loaded up Origins again.
