About a year ago I bought a SNES job lot consisting of about 10 games, a Snes and an unused Super Gameboy, all for a brilliant price. With the games was this prototype of Aguri Suzuki F1 Super Driving. The game itself contains both Japanese and English, meaning it could have been half way through translation when a test copy was made.

Click on the image to see an enlarged view, where you can see the words "Sample" and "PAL Version" on the label, which look out of place compared to the rest of the label. The board inside contains a pair of EPROM chips, which to my knowledge are reprogrammable.

I don't know a lot in the area of prototype and collecting, but I was wondering how much this prototype could possibly be worth?

SNES protos range from about $50-80 for released ones on average unless they are bigger name games.
