Or what percentage of a complete game's value should be assigned to the box & Instructions so I can do my own leg work.

Here's what I'm looking on getting:

Dragon Warrior 4 B
Bard's Tale IB
Castlequest B
Gargoyle's Quest II I
Pirates IB
Shadowgate B
Times of Lore IB
Tombs & Treasure IBM
Ultima: Warriors of Destiny IBM
Wizardry Proving Grounds I
Genghis Khan B
Gauntlet IB (unlicensed)
Gauntlet IB (licensed)
Arkista's Ring I

Wow 61 views no response.

Anyways I offered $100 plus shipping and the deal is pending. So... here's hoping I did good.

It's tough to gauge what a box and manual is worth. I generally just look up the game on Ebay and see what it sold for cart only, and what it sold for complete, then subtract.

I probably wouldn't have spent $100 on that lot. But getting the box & manual for DWIV is really nice all the same.

I meant to reply to this thread yesterday, but I never got around to it. DW4 and Ultima are the good ones, probably about $50 for those ones alone; Times of Lore about $10; the rest are about $5 each.

$100 isn't a great deal but if you need those boxes, why not?

Huh, I had no idea that Ultima game was worth that much! XD Or rather the box & manual were.

the unlicenced gauntlet box is a tough one to find as well (harder then rbi or pacman)

Actually, I would say the licensed Gauntlet is harder to find than the unlicensed one. Gauntlet, Pac Man, and RBI Baseball were the first three games that Tengen released.

mobius: I meant for both of them together, DW4 and Ultima if they're in average condition. Some of those boxes are condition sensitive; you would get quite a bit more with near-mint/mint copies.

They're all mint/excellent save the times of lore manual.

Thread's a bit redundant now, but I figure I'm swapping out boxes. Selling my less than perfect SNES boxes and completing my loose NES games. Both totals come out to $100 so it's a straight wash.
