SNES Tenchi Muyou! Game Hen Early Version

I just posted a very early version of Tenchi Muyou! Game Hen (http://eludevisibility.org/tenchi-muyou-game-hen-japan-sample/) and I don't know much about the game originally, has anyone played through the whole game, either in Japanese or the translated version?

From what I did see, it was clearly much different, since you can't really die (or I didn't). If anyone cares to play and finds something interesting, I'd love to hear about it.
