Hey guys and gals...I live at the Jersey shore and i am looking for some vintage video game shops to visit to expand or help my collection..Any ideas??? I have been to Digitpress,Next Level, Play N Trade, Level Up and We've got Freaking video games...Are there any other hidden gems besides these joints? Just curious?? I am willing to travel....

That's pretty much it my friend. If you live in South Jersey you could always go to Franklin Mills Mall, there's a place called Got Game there. There used to be one in the city but they closed down. The one in the city had horrendous prices, dunno about the one in the Mall.

You guys are so lucky to have so many retro game stores there. I've been to both Digital Press and Next Level and was very impressed with both their selections. I wish stores like that would come here.

I've been to a large number of stores in Northern NJ, and frankly, only Digital Press is worth your time up here.

I agree they aren't worth a long stay, but it's always good to stop by any local game store about once a month, just in case a gem has come in.

There is a store in Turnersville, NJ called Bandit Video that has a small selection of NES, SNES, and Genesis, as well as a nice selection of modern games. Worth checking out on your next NLV visit, it's about 15-20 minutes from there. Also Bandit's is very fair on trade ins, and they have a habit of breaking street dates if you're looking for something new.

Someone should update that chart, Got Game is no longer there anymore, they closed on a tuesday a few months back (April maybe?).

They were owned by the same people as Game Store, and technically it was called the Game Store. Horrendous prices and next to no selection of anything classic really. They never had any consoles in stock either, just clones. Except for one of each nintendo console on display (stop taunting me with that fucking top-loading NES behind that glass that you won't sell me!) For some reason their modern stuff was priced better than Gamestop though.

The guy who used to work in there was cool though, I used to hang out in there with friends and play Yugioh until he quit.s

For me the DP Store is the best. :) I never been to Next Level, well now that I have a car I might visit.. Also I could also recommend Video Game World in Bloomfield, it is small store but nice. They also have mulitple locations (NJ ONLY) so find one near you. Search Video Game World on google..

Next Level is an AWESOME place, with better prices than Digitpress. You should check it out, they have a huge selection, and SJCs are great.

The map is an open calibration, all you need to do is hit the edit button and select the place you want to change.

If you want to add a store the easiest way is if you have a google account is to save it to your maps. Then when you find a new place hit save, and on the drop down select the map and bang you have a listing.
