I have an original ATARI VIDEO SYSTEM in mint shape with several games for sale. Includes console, pamphlets, joysticks, connector to tv, about 8 games packman, star wars etc real neat in original box. Please call [removed] and make an offer.

I emailed and asked:

How much did you want for the Atari?

Is it an Atari VCS (2600), 5200 or 7800?

She responds with:

Hi It is the 2600. one. I am told to ask about $150.00 for everything.... make an offer

I just thought I'd post this. I found it amusing. I mean, it's up to her what she wants to charge, but wow... $150! ... just wow.

On a related note, I was in a Play N' Trade a few weeks ago and saw they had a 2600 Jr., behind the glass. Since their Atari cart prices are fairly reasonable, I figured the console wouldn't be that expensive. I looked closer and saw a $69.99 price tag. Seriously? For a store whose prices aren't that bad for classic games, it was a little surprising.

Most of the time they're not, some people are just really high. I got my current Jr. for $12 about 2 years ago.

I saw one at a thrift store with a common game UNTESTED for 60$, they had a loose one for 30$. I see pieces of crap computers from the 90s with cracked screens sell their for 100+ dollars!

Oh yeah? Found one in my craigslist for 500 beat that shit. Bitch is crazy. If it were a first run 77 6 switch it could go for what 50-150 with some stuff thrown in and boxed. but this is just a normal old dime a dozen 2600 for 500 bucks. hell get a flashback for 30 with the games built in and screw that
