Ok, enough is enough... I'm shutting down GamerHistory.com . I'm letting the hosting expire 7/27/2009. If there's anything you want off the site, grab it before then. I don't have an offline copy of most of that stuff anymore.

If for whatever reason somebody wants the site, data, or domain names, let me know.

Ugh. I can see why they didn't film that ending to Blade Runner. Way too blunt. :/

Sorry to see the site go. You really had some neat stuff on there.

Wild, had no idea someone on here ran that site.

I ran across it on StumbleUpon and Google and remember browsing for hours. So I know many will miss it seeing as you are somewhat on the search engines out there.

Shit, that sucks. I had some real fun digging through there and learned an awful lot of nifty stuff.

Sadly, I wouldn't be able to devote nearly enough time to do it justice either :( How much data is on there total?

The database is only about 20 megabytes, the rest of the data probably only takes less then a gig. There may be something in the works to keep some of the information availible though, someone has expressed interest in the site but i don't know the details.

The amount of content is small enough that I could probably mirror it at the very least. It'd be nice to keep a lot of that stuff available online.
