PS1 arcade stick question

I'm not sure what forum this belongs in since it regards the PS2 also. My question is will the Asciiware arcade stick that was available for the PS1 work for games on the PS2? I know I will be losing analog capabilities (since it isn't available on the arcade stick) but in general would it work for arcade comp's that the PS2 has to offer?

Yeah, it works. I played and finished Ys VI with that joystick.
