I've been looking around ebay UK at this amazing lightgun called the Logic3 P99l -- it comes with a foot pedal and actual recoil action, just like the Time Crisis II arcade game, and it's black instead of traffic-cone orange.
My question: If I were to import this wicked gun, would it work on a US PS2? Not just peripheral compatibility, either, but also checking compatibility with my NTSC television.
Thanks.

From a peripheral perspective, the controllers themselves aren't region locked.
According to a random blog on IGN, it works for both NTSC and PAL: http://blogs.ign.com/daisu/2006/04/08/10414/
If you want an official answer, you should probably send an email to the manufacturer.
As a side note, i had no idea there were so many light-guns for the PS2. There seem to be more guns then games that use them by about 2:1

Thank you. That was all I needed. I'll grab one as soon as I clear it with the seller to ship internationally.
