Metal Gear Arcade

I'm not the biggest Metal Gear Solid fan but I thought this was pretty cool nontheless. Konami will be releasing a Metal Gear Arcade (http://www.gamepro.com/article/news/210809/new-metal-gear-arcade-details-16-player-combat-new-customization-3d-technology/#) game this fall in Japan. It's a retooled version of the Metal Gear Solid 4 online multiplayer. The only downside is that it will most likely never be released in the US.

Wow, I never would have thought in a million years. There's an arcade Castlevania game that recently came out, too. Does Konami actually make moneys off these ventures these days? I would imagine that the audience for newer arcade games would be somewhat limited given what's at home these days. But, then again, I guess arcades still have some pull in Japan. Interesting! We'll never see it here, though.
