Ok guys here's whats up Im apart of the Dallas Ghostbusters and we are working with gamestop in lewisville texas off of 3040 and round grove rd. This coming monday starting at 9 pm runing till sometime after midnight we are having a midnight launch party for Ghostbusters the video game. Come out bring your friends family kids whatever you want and join in on the fun. Take pics with the Ghostbusters (us) and even get your pic taken with the Original ECTO-1!!! Thats right kiddies Old ecto is making a one night appearence for this event this is the ONLY gamestop you will see her at. So come on out there will be food,drinks and we'll be screening ghostbusters out of the back of the Ecto HHR. Hope to see you guys there.
Forgot to m ention Terminal reality the creators of the game will be there signing copies of the game as well! :D

I have no interest in buying a Ghostbusters video game, so I don't think I'll bother. I'm a little interested to see if this is on the up and up, though. It could have been a GameStop employee trying to pump up business for their midnight sale for a game that probably won't draw in too many people to make it worth staying open so late. So make up a bunch of stuff about the 'real Ecto-1' and see how many people show up disappointed.

WOW what an asinine thing to say. I can assure you that I do not in anyway work for gamestop Ive made that mistake once before. I was at e3 with ecto last week. Whatever If you dont want to go then dont go no need to waist everyone's time with insults and negativity just because you dont like think it will be worth your ungodly valuable time. The only reason I posted this was to gage intrest for other people in the area and dont knock a game until you try it which im pretty sure you havnt.:roll:
That being said yes the ecto was in L.A last week for e3 and we got lucky because she was supposed to be at a gamestop on broadway in nyc but something happend and some papers didnt get signed in time im not 100% sure as to why its not going there but the manager of the gamestop i am speaking of heard that it didnt go through in NYC so he stepped forward and got it taken care of. Luckly my ghostbusters group and I kinda made friends with the guy who is contracted to take care of her and haul her around so it will be nice to see him again.

Now i honestly dont know how to prove any more that im not with gamestop other than for the release. If anyone honestly thinks that this is just to get people to show up and be disapointed that there is no ecto 1 then your retarted. The ecto 1 will be there from 9 pm to around 12:30am. So those who are intrseted be there those arnt please keep your incredibly rude comments to your self.

Are you Peck from the E.P.A. or just a killjoy? Anyways this seems like a cool promo event and wish I could make it. Damn pesky living in another state crap.

I wish I lived in California. I live in the western province of Canada and its pretty much the USA without all the products and oppurtunities. We dont even have a theme park of any significance here in a province of 5 million people. LOL

Havnt played the wii yet but the 360 is just like ive said before amazing. Wish everyone could have been there. There were almost 200 people there to pic up there reserve copies and to eat and take pics with ecto1 yes thats right....ecto 1 WAS THERE. If i recall there were 190 pre orderd and anyone who was there that hadnt pre orderd was instructed to which shot it up to a little over 200. I'll pst pics later on.
