I admit when I first saw the device because of the leaks I was excited for it. But then when the price was finally announced at $250 I lost all of my enthusiasm. I don't understand why they are saying it's a great value compared to an Ipod touch when I don't know who they are expecting to cross shop those two devices.

I'll wait for the next version of the PSP that has PS2 compatibility. I bet they are bound to come out with a PS2 on a chip device then sell all the old PS2 games as digital downloads. Hopefully it will have an oled touch screen (like they have on their new walkman) with dual sticks and 4 shoulder buttons (maybe the R2/L2 could be trigger type buttons that pop out of the back when the screen is slid open). That would be worth $250 to me. Even better if it can also double as a phone then it could be subsidized with contracts through the carriers, with a non-phone version also available ala ipod touch.

Limited Edition Pacman Scarf Costs More Than PSP Go

Well he is about to become 30. In video gaming years, that's probably even past mid-life crisis already. Maybe that would explain why the Fummel & Kram brand is coming out with a very, very expensive accessory for Pac-Man, a scarf costing more than Sony's new PSP Go.

The price: US$ 298. Yep, that's almost US$ 50 more than the UMD-less handheld from Sony. The features of the said scarf are the following:

* limited edition
* hand-embroidered, courtesy of Fummel & Kram
* return tag: "If lost, please return to..."

No word if you'll get power fruits along with the purchase.

Should be no more than 20 dollars. I guess the limited edition-ess of it added that extra 288. Pacman is 30 years old but a piece of cloth at 298 dollars is a joke. Anyone who pays that is a retard, plain and simple.

Maybe Namco is trying to make the PSP Go look more affordable?
