When my Twin Famicom arrives from japan will I be able to use the japanese ac adapter out of the box? I have heard I should be okay, but I want to be sure.

BTW-I posted this question in another thread but I can't remember which oneLOL

The smartest bet would be to buy a stepdown converter for playing it in the US. It should work without one but I wouldn't want to take a chance.

Stepdown??

Japanese AC is only 100 volts, vs 120 in the US.

That's just what it's called. It can be used to convert US to Japanese or vice-versa (which would be a real stepdown).

Thanks for the article. That's pretty expensive, so I might give it a shot without it to begin with. I have heard a lot of people say their Neo-Geo's and PCEngine's work fine, but I had to make sure. Thanks guys!!:)
