How can I tell the difference between the regular version and the greatest hits version of the disc?

I ask because I bought a used copy of Destruction Derby 2 at a local game store a while back (I brought up the empty case which was a Greatest Hits case) and they gave me a Destruction Derby 2 disc and I'm just curious if it is indeed the actual Greatest Hits disc or not.

BTW, if I'm not mistaken, the original Destruction Derby disc was printed in color and the Greatest Hits disc was not.

Any info. is appreciated. Thanks.

If the disc is not in color, then it's a Greatest Hits disc.

Here's a little more information on GH discs from Dangerboy's PlayStation site (http://www.game-rave.com/psx/playstation%5Fperfect%5Fguide/variant%5Fgallery%5Fgh/):

When it comes to the discs, there are 4 common choices. The new GH disc will either have a black-and-white version of the artwork, clear disc with black text, white disc with black/clear text, or black disc with white/clear text. Dukes of Hazzard is the only game that breaks this mold, and instead keeps the orange tint that represents the General Lee car the game is based on.
