The one thing I hate? The factor I've tried downloading Pac Man World 2 and it keeps going "OH NOEZ IT ONLEE WERKS OWN EXPEE", and the factor that there's no option to set original Xbox games to widescreen on a 360.

You might regret making this topic, there are a lot of 360 fans here.

I don't hate any of the 3 companies, but they sure have done some things that have added up to made me think I hate them.

Microsoft:

The games are great but I don't like the 360 console.

-It has one of the worst names of any system ever made (I would probably put TurboGrafx as the worst) and I honestly think it's very ugly. Though neither of those points change how the games play.
-Poorly made, you buy it, play games on it for a year, then suddenly it whips out it's RRoD and smacks you in the face.
-The controller feels very durable but the A/B/X/Y/RB/LB/Guide buttons and D-Pad feel like something from a cheap phone, they don't feel suitable for games.

Sony:

-I used to hate the quality of their products, breaking down within a year. Looks like they've fixed that.

Nintendo:

-I want compilation games like Capcom and Sega does, I don't want to buy each classic game individually for $30 (or $5-$10 on VC). But, I'm sure if Capcom and Sega had a console they would do the same thing.

Wow, they must have some pretty poor spellers that program those error messages.

The one thing that annoys me the most about Microsoft's gaming division is the reliability of the 360. After that, it's the 360's lack of full backwards compatibility with the original Xbox.

If you want to play Xbox games, get an Xbox. All BC does is limit the technology on the current system.

I don't even understand the first one, but I'm not sure the second one is right. Doom III works in Widescreen for me.

I don't have any reason to hate them. There are some things I wish they'd do different, like making all original XBox games BC, providing built-in Wi Fi and making their systems less prone to breakdowns, but otherwise their stuff has provided me with some very nice gaming experiences.

I guess the most annoying thing about Microsoft is that for some reason it causes so many fanboys to seethe with inexplicable, irrational rage. That gets old.

I hate pretty much everything Microsoft does in the computer world, but in the video game world it's a very different story. Overall, I think they did a pretty good job. People like to hate them because of the failure rates, but they extended the warranty for three years, for free. I think that perhaps the gravity of such a move is mostly lost on people now that we're so acclimated to it, but I try not to forget the gesture.

All things considered, they could have been much more evil about it, like trying to tack on some sort of "Extended Warranty Buy-in Fee" or something, but they didn't. They did exactly what a company with billions of dollars on-hand should have done in that particular situation, in terms of what was best for the customer rather than their wallet, and it makes me want to continue supporting them, at least on the video game side of things.

Recent 360 owner, and I don't know what there is to hate about MSoft?!?

Your machine breaks (if it is within 3 years) they pay to send it back to them and fix it. New 1 yr warranty. Also the website is very robust for tracking the your machine and customer service is very friendly (my experience).

Yes they make/made a flawed product, but they did not cover it up and they are trying to do the right thing. At this point I think we all know what we are getting when we buy a non-Jasper 360 (kinda like cigs but without the warning!).

I am not a fan boy and have probably 100 more PS games than MS games, but few companies have responded so well to a major defect/issue, so I give them their due.

Hate? Nah, I have much better things to do with my time. At the end of the day, Bill Gates and the M$ Board of Directors are businessmen. They're there to make money by running a successful profitable company.

I really, really dislike Windows therefore I just don't use the damn thing; I only use it when I really have to. I prefer Apple's stunning hardware designs and OS, and the way everything just works how it should. I do have Win7 x64 installed on the Mac Pro though and everything seems fine for running Visual C#.

The Xbox 360 hardware is just shocking and a very costly embarrassment to the company. Yeah, it may have the games but everyone in the world knows that 360s RRoD.

I use M$ Office 2008 Mac on a daily basis to organise my entire life. It syncs perfectly with my iPhone and does everything I need it to do all in one application. There are some slight annoyances with Mac Office, but overall I really like it; I've been using it since the '04 version.

I also have to give the company huge credit for the entire XNA Game Studio programme. What Sony started with PlayStation Yaroze has evolved into so much more through XNA on the 360 and I think it's a really good thing.

I hate how Microsoft didn't add a "2" or "Super" to the title of their second console. How dare them add a "3" in "360" when this isn't even their third system:confused:

5. charging 1200 points for crappy games.

What do I hate about Microsoft? The fact that people CONTINUE to buy and support the Xbox 360 and Windows based computers, then CONTINUE to bitch about how crappy and how expensive they are.

Here's my suggestion: Throw out your 360. Throw out your Windows-based PC. Don't give Microsoft and Bill Gates another dime if you're truly that dissatisfied. Otherwise, STFU.

Bowfinger, Life, Metro, and Vampire in Brooklyn were all good in my opinion.

There is one that's sortof good sortof ehh. Beverly Hills Cop 3. I'm pretty sure everyone has seen Beverly Hills Cop 1 and 2, and then you watch the third one. It sucks balls compared to the other two. Now if it wasn't a sequel and you couldn't judge the movie from the first two, then it wouldn't be too bad of a movie, and it's about a decent movie for the 1990's(nothing really good, about your average 1990 movie.)

Now everything he's done in 2000 has sucked, and it fits my theory. Most movies 2000 and onward suck(this is my theory and it is fact, regardless of if you accept it or not.) A higher percentage of movies in the 80s and 90s if comparable to how good they are, are badass in comparison to movies in the 2000s.

--

I hate how Microsoft doesn't have a free PC optimizer to make your PC run at perfect potential from the start instead of having all this crap added on and forcing to remove every single junk program, clean out the registry, etc, etc, etc, every time I format my PC(which I haven't did in a really long time.)

I hate how they also don't have a truly reliable free virus scanner and the fact that their firewall sucks.

I'll agree that this forum has more 360 fans, but there are far more Nintendo fanboys.

Nintendo fanboys like to use the fact that Wii is selling far more than the two systems it's competing against because they sure as hell can't say the system has better games since there's no good games for the system(exaggeration.) Who cares if you got a cheap system when you can't play anything on it worth a damn.

It's okay to be a fanboy of the NES, SNES, and all their portables(and the N64 to a very small extent.) Those systems are actually good. The Gamecube is a crappy system as well, though it has its small share of good games(extremely small share.)

That reminds me how back when the PS1 and PS2 ruled the video game world, all of Sony's E3 conferences were 50% power point presentation for how many more units they were selling over the competition. I use to hate that about their E3 conferences but fortunatly those are things of the past....atleast for them.
