View Full Version : Super Mario Bros. TV dinner tray?

My wife found this for me today, she paid $7 for it, a bit high for a rummage sale but still probably worth it. It's in fair condition, some light paint chipping on the edges and some dents by the leg hinges but otherwise a very nice item to hang on the wall or something. Any guesses on value?

If I had to put a value on that I'd say ~$40. That's not based on anything, though. And honestly, it is so cool I wouldn't consider selling it unless it was pushing 100 or so.

Not nearly as nice shape as yours, though.

i have a ninja turtle one i got as a present a few years back. it looks exactly like yours except obviously it features the TMNT from the original cartoon series.

I have one m'self, but it's horribly beat up and dented (found it at a thrift store for $3 years ago). Anyway, I've seen these pop up on eBay about...hmmmm... 3 or 4 times in the last 2 years. They never sold for more than $20. Yours in really nice shape though, so I'd say $30-$40 to a true Mario/Nintendo fan; $20-$30 to your average VG collector.

That looks very similar in art style to the SMB comic books that came out in the late 80s / early 90s
