So I was playing the trial of Arkadian Warriors and I thought it was good but I wanna know how long it takes to beat the game. Is it worth $10?

It sucks. Don't buy it. Just super generic.

If memory serves me right, there's 20 quests. It takes about 10 - 15 hours. In that regard it's worth $10. But the game is really horrid, even for fans of dungeon crawlers. Sure, I thought the demo was cool too, but then I bought it...and played it...and got all 200/200 achievements in it. And then wondered why the hell I bothered. =(

You might want to save the $10 and put it towards Sacred 2.

Loved Arkadian Warriors, despise Sacred 2.

Saying Arkadian Warriors is generic and recommending Sacred 2 is kinda funny. Combat at least has some merit in Arkadian Warriors, even if its sloppy. In Sacred 2, the player attacks, the monsters attack, and neither has any animation to indicate a hit. It feels cheap.

Eh, I've never played Sacred 2. That's why I said you might want to look into it. It's available on Xbox 360. I have no comments on quality, just an alternative. There's probably a PC demo available if you want to test drive it...and if you wait for a few months, it'll no doubt be available for like $15 on eBay, since I doubt anyone will buy it.

Regardless, the main point is that Arkadian Warriors is a turd. I don't doubt that some people enjoyed it, but is it worth $10 to find out? Depends on how big of a fan of dungeon crawlers you are. The game does not change at all from the demo. If you've played that first mission, you've played the entire game. Which seems swell at first, but doing the same thing twenty times for shit loot really isn't all that great.

In summation: if you're ok with spending 8 - 15 hours doing the same thing as the first level, with absolutely no changes, then it's worth $10. It's not lacking in length, it's really just lacking in variety...even for a hack 'n slash dungeon crawler. Which is saying a lot.

Arkadian Warriors is a decent buy at $10. It's a cheap XBLA game, and if you like Diablo clones you just about know what to expect. I found it to be the most fun local multiplayer, as online has some lag issues and solo questing can get monotonous. Calling it a turd is a little harsh as the current RPG pickings for download on the 360 are slim indeed.

I actually really enjoyed the game myself. Although I do wish there was more than one town.
