Kind of a stretch, but yet another celeb has passed, but this one with a somewhat slight connection to classic gaming:


Comedian/Impressionist Fred Travalena dies (http://www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/TV/06/29/fred.travalena.dies/)

Fred did the voice of King Ethelred in the "Dragon's Lair" animated series. He also appeared in a handful of "The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!" episodes.

Anyone who grew up in the 1970's and early 80s will remember him for his many appearances on The Tonight Show.
