So, looking to buy some games. Wondering how much I should prepare to spend.

Makaimura. The only listing I see on ebay is $65 used in unspecified condition.
I saw a yahoo japan auction for 580 yen loose.
That's a pretty big difference.
Klonoa. I'm afraid to ask, since I hear the cart is fairly rare.
Makaitoushi Saga.
Star Hearts. I found it for $25 complete. Doesn't look to be an unreasonable price (Y!J auctions at about 1500 yen).
Unsure about Romancing Saga. $30 complete looks to be the going rate?
(since it's looking less likely we'll see some form of the Makaitoushi remake in English. And probably not the original version of Romancing.)

Not really looking to buy Rockman: Challenger from the Future. Tried it on an emu, and I'm doubting it'd redeem itself on a real system. :P

I don't think there's a compatibility difference between Color and Crystal, right?

Here's a price guide: http://www.risingstuff.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=40

That Rising Stuff price guide isn't so good, IMO. Sometimes a bit on the low side, sometimes way, way too high. Some of the ZOMG Rarez! games don't sell at 50% of what they did a while ago. And if someone wants to pay $60 for the FFII box set I'll be glad to take their money and get them however many they want :)

THAT being said, $65 is high for Maikamura, Klonoa isn't difficult to find at all, Star Hearts and Romancing Saga are pretty common but those prices for them seem to be in the right neighborhood if buying in the US.

No compatibility difference between Color and Crystal, though the Crystal screen is much nicer.

Didn't know the FF Box sets went lower in Japan, but thought they might. However, I usually see them on Ebay at that price and rarely see them cheaper. Even non-BIN auctions tend to end between $50~60+ but I don't check for that too often, so maybe I don't catch when they sell for less.

I think the list is a little old so the prices are going to be off some.

I was going to say something but smork said it all for me.

Hey guys, if you have any input I'd love to integrate it into the Rising Stuff guide. :) Since I'm the only one who maintains it really I'm sure some of the prices are off. It can be hard to find what the more expensive titles are really worth for Wonderswan since they come up fairly rarely.

I'm pretty sure the prices on WS/WSC have dropped since you did that guide. I know what I paid for my Final Fantasy II WSC bundle a couple years ago, and it's pretty much in line w/ what you have listed. They don't sell for that much any more tho.

I'm more than willing to help you revise it, JapanesePeso! Drop me a line and we can chat about it.

It's a good resource, just needs some updating! :)
