I know there's DVD case projects..

How about the CD Jewel case's, would there be a demand for it??

Like making a CD manual & backinserts..

I think that CD cases are good for those who want to save space, but CD cases are not the best because
they are not as durable and the plastic hinges easily break.

I was happy when the gaming companies started using the DVD style cases because I wouldn't find them broken all the time.

The Sega CD, Saturn and early Playstation cases were even less durable than CD jewel cases.

If you mean blowing up the pictures on CD sized games and putting them into DVD cases that is the way to go. Rental and used game stores already did that for PS1.

yeah that'd be neat. I really like Dreamcast cases, so all my loose games would look like those.

These projects are cool and all, but I really don't understand it. What do people do, throw away the originals and put them inside a printed DVD case? If that's the case, give them my number. ;)

I think it's usually for games that are either purchased loose or have a case that is in bad enough condition to be practically loose (e.g. most of my Sega CD stuff :()
