Somone offered me a vintage system called Adversary. It is brand new never opened etc. They said it was from the 70's and the research I did said it was a competitor for pong. They wanted $50 for it. Should I get it? Does anyone know anything about this system? What's it worth etc.
thanks

Are you paying $50? If so that is too much. https://www.atari2600.com/ccp51/media/images/product_xlarge/PONG0033LX.gif If that is the system, nothing really special about it. Just another pong system. I would not pay more then $10-15 at the most for a pong clone.

I suppose there is ALWAYS a market for sealed items, so if you're planning to re-sell later it's probably a safe bet you'll find someone to buy it (look at it this way - you're a knowledgeable gamer and YOU are prepared to buy it). But as a game system it's an entirely unremarkable, generic, and I daresay "common" Pong clone.
Anyone remember the Adversary system that resided in the "free pile" for many months during NAVA meetings back when it was held in Mike Etler's store?
