Hello everyone!
As some of you may already know, I'm actively collecting NES prototypes and I'm always looking to add one more to my shelf. If any member happens to have any NES prototypes that they'd be willing to sell, I'm your man.
I'm interested in complete protos, incomplete protos, released and unreleased protos, cart protos, loose PCB protos, and loose EPROM protos. You name it, I'm interested in it.
I will gladly offer between $100-$150 for "Throw away" titles (Magmax, Hylide, Bo Jackson's Baseball, John Elway's QB, etc). I'm willing to pay far more for more popular titles (Megaman, Contra, Castlevania), rarer titles (Panic Restaurant, Pro Sport Hockey, Power Blade 2) or first-party Nintendo titles. I'm willing to drop four figures on undumped, unreleased NES titles (Which I would eventually release with my team of "From Nowhere Productions) without hesitation.
I'm willing to offer cash as well as trade. I have prototypes for SNES, Genesis, Gameboy, and Atari that I would be willing to trade towards NES titles. Some vary a great deal from the released version, and some are unreleased all together.
I have feedback on Neo-Geo, NA, and eBay. I would be more than happy to pay before items are shipped.
Feel free to post in this thread or shoot me a PM. If you have an NES prototype, but are not currently interested in selling, feel free to contact me regardless.
Thanks in advance!
- Matt

Bump.
I have received a few PMs, and I'm thinking I should have made a thread earlier. I have paypal ready, and I have a ton of other prototypes to trade.

Seeing as I have some more money to burn, I figured I'd bump this back up from the dead. Still interested in any and all NES prototypes I don't currently own. Even if you're not looking to sell at the moment, feel free to shoot me a PM for sometime down the road.

I have a good sum of money ready to go for some NES prototypes. I'm interested in any NES prototype, including loose chips. If you have something that you're on the fence about selling, shoot me a PM and I'm sure I can make you a very fair offer:D

These guys(MrMark included) are great to deal with. I have sold a few Prototypes to them and it could not have went smoother. They pay extremely fast and make everything very easy. Great guys! A+

Thanks for the kind words my good man! I will say that the first prototype Mark and I ever purchased was from you, and it is still my absolute favorite prototype to date.
Bump to the top as I'm still looking to expand.

Uh...
I have a The Rocketeer proto somewhere. >_>;; MrMark tried to dump it but didn't get anything off the carts, though. We weren't sure if he messed up or not.

I actually had the chance to mess around with it for a bit while Mark tried to get some data off it. It's a very cool looking prototype, but I don't think it has any salvageable data on it. If you were willing to let it go for cheap I would still consider buying it.
I don't want to lowball you, but I also don't have enough disposable income to start collecting non-working prototypes lol.

He said something about the chips being put on backwards over at NintendoAge? I'm not sure. He told me to switch the chips around to which I said "HELL NO I might break 'em!"

I think that's a bit of a misunderstanding. That was like a last ditch effort deal, as we weren't getting anywhere with the chips the way they were. Someone mentioned that a vendor at the fleamarket may have switched the chips after finding that the game was not functioning (Shot in the dark, but stranger things have happened). Switching the chips wouldn't really be harmful if it were just to quickly try it out. As I said before though, I'm pretty sure that there's no salvageable data on that cart to be completely honest. I would still consider switching the chips out of sheer curiosity. Hell, if it ends up working I'll be buying the cart off you!

Good luck in your search!
For those that have any doubts, beaglepuss and Mr.Mark are great guys to deal with and they do alot of the NES comunity as a whole (including public ROM releases)! If you have any protos for sale, these are the guys to sell them to!

Thanks dude! Mark and I have been working on a special rom release for next month, but we have hit a few snags. We'll release a rom regardless, but this one I have in mind is a bit more special. More details when I make some progress. . .
Back to the top as I'm still looking to expand!

Did you sell off everything or do you still have some NES protos in your collection?

Two more down with countless more to go!
@Skaar: It doesn't sound as though either one of these came from eBay. Your cart must have ended up somewhere else. . .

Well, I'm back on the hunt for more NES prototypes. I have a few hundred dollars in my paypal, and tomorrow's my birthday so I'm looking to piss away some big money on a few gifts for myself.
I'm interested in any NES prototype I don't already own, and I always pay good money for them. I'm also interested in any unreleased Genesis title to a lesser extent and I'm willing to pay accordingly.
Shoot me a PM with what you have and I'm sure we can work out a deal. I also have a few NES prototypes for trade if you'd prefer going that route.

Afraid not, but people talk, and if people can see what you have and what you need it's always useful so I figured I'd ask it :)
