This showed up in a giant lot of games i bought, i've never seen it before.
I'm sure it's a NTSC/US release. There's no UPC, no title ID and no ESRB rating. Underneath the "collector's edition" is the normal artwork with all of the above.
Anybody know where it came from?

In order for me to make an assessment, I'm going to need a close-up of the front cover art.

Dude, your photo attachment is way too big. In any event, if you pre-ordered at EB Games/Gamestop, you got this special cover when you picked it up inside one of those paper/wax sleeves that stamp collectors use. It also had a unique serial number on each cover to show it was X out of however many made.

I probably should have specified "the bottom left."
I'm pretty sure it's some sort of variant though.
PS: You have soft looking hands.

Huh, sorry. They look fine on my 3800px × 2400px monitor.
Thanks for the info though.

You might need to get your monitor checked. On everyone else's they look blurry as hell :(
Try getting some better lighting if you're going to use your camera or slap those things on your all in one scanner/copier/fax/printer.

ProgAce:
The game's not a variant at least in the normal sense.
That cover was given to EB pre-orders as a bonus to replace the regular cover. It came in a smooth, almost wax paper like envelope with a seal on it. It's kinda like the Okami thing - not a variant release, just a different insert release.
I sent someone a complete-in-package one on #vbender, ask around and you should be able to find who it was.

I worked at Gamestop at the time, so mine came from there. I dunno if both EB and Gamestop did the same pre-order shit at that time or not.

That's not guitar hand, that's potato chip hand. You should think about picking up a hobby that'll work the ol' cardio. Maybe jogging or cycling. I'm a big fan of swimming in the summer months.
Between that and a healthy diet, you'll be back to having human hands in no time.

Next time you should upgrade your pc before coming into ProgrammingAce's threads.
It is a cool looking variant (or semi-variant)though. There are definitely some Xbox collectors who would love to add that to their collection.

It's important to run the latest version of CausticityCatcher. It's a great browser add-on provided you keep up with the regular nightly builds.
