xbla games with 256mb unit?

at the moment i only have my internal memory on my 360 arcade and an extra 256mb storage, i was wondering could i still download arcade games, because when i look at them, it says that i need a hard drive or atleast 512mb memory.. so if i did download one,, would i still be able to play it.. and save it to my extra 256mb unit (not the internal 256mb memory) ???

Many XBLA games would be small enough to work on it.

Just download a demo of whatever game your interested in. Its the full game, just restricted until you unlock it by purchasing it. If the demo downloads and plays, you'll be able to buy it and play it.

I'm a bit confused here, but if you have 256 MB built into the system, and you have another 256 memory card, you cannot combine them to download a 512 MB game.

No he is going off of the games that say you need 512 memory card or HDD , even though the game is only say...200mb.

Which games are you thinking about?

only stuff like phantasy star 2,, maybe UMK, sonic, not sure what else atm

because i was thinking, if i started to get too many arcade games,, could i just delete the ones off my 256mb unit once i am done with them ? ,, then download them any time after that ...

Yes, you can.

If you want to redownload them in the future they are recorded in your download history so you can.
