What classic game would you like to see remade?

(Please forgive me if this has already been done. I ran a search and couldn't find a thread on it, so I'm hoping I'm safe, but I guess we'll see. If it's all old news, please delete it.)

They seem to be remaking a lot of old games lately, like "Bionic Commando" and I guess "Ghostbusters" counts. And there's a new "A Boy and His Blob" on the way. There's even an upgraded "Turtles in Time" coming.

What other oldschool games deserve to be revisited?

I'd like to see another Earthworm Jim.

Abadox from the NES would work great today, but might cause some controversy with upgraded graphics. Lots of gore.

Dig Dug would make a great First Person Shooter.

K.C. Munchkin from the Odyssey 2 could make a great 3D adventure game. An all but forgotten character, which is a shame.

I guess I'm kind of blurring the line between remake and sequel, but I really want another Primal Rage.

Screw Attack .com or whatever those dudes are called, they make a lot of good TOP 10 videos about different video game related stuff.

They mentioned one time about how Nintendo should make a "Super Mario Bros. 3 Part II"

Kind of like Final Fantasy X Part 2.

Keio Flying Squadron, Snatcher, and Rise of the Dragon. I'd pay almost any price for updates or sequels to these games.

I'd love to see Yar's Revenge (2600), Ninja Golf (7800), Escape From The Mindmaster (2600 with Supercharger), I-War (Jaguar), Thunder Castle (Intellivision), Alien vs. Predator (Jaguar), Midnight Mutants (7800), T-Mek (arcade), Roadkill (Xbox/GC/PS2), Battlemorph (Jag CD) and Diner (Intellivision) all get brought back and remade. Or given sequels.

I would like to see UNINVITED redone.

But make it a fully featured haunted house, perfectly done to scare and intimidate players into elements of the supernatural and occult. Make the player feel he/she is actually in the game, observing elements beyond belief. And the game is never the same twice, meaning that once it's finished, a new game will mean a brand NEW game.

Man, Ninja Golf is like my #1 Most Wanted Game to own. It would be the crown of my Atari collection, haha.

And I've always wondered why it was never remade. Seems like such an obvious concept.

Majora's Mask. Some tweaking to the time manipulation, camera and difficulty level would be neat. Nothing that couldn't be done as a mod to the original though.

How about older PS1 or NES games that had sketchy graphics, but great gameplay???

Jumping Flash I + II would be the perfect candidate for a remake much like how Klonoa was remade earlier this year. I also think that the original Contra, Blaster Master and Battletoads for NES would be great choices! Maybe someone could remake Goldeneye or Beetle Adventure Racing so we don't have to play it in eye-raping video on the N64. In that regard anything on the N64 should be reamde that is not already on virtual console.

It was already stated, but there was a sequel to Keio on the Saturn and, although it was more platformer than shooter, it was an awesome game..

As for Snatcher and Rise....mmm, I dont know. I would defintiely NOT want them in 3D...BUT if they keep the point and click interface and just redraw the graphics in hi-res (NOT the crappy way in the Saturn and PSOne remakes!!!) THEN I would be interested!
