Noticed this on Teller's Twitter this morning.
"MrTeller: This week's BS, "Videogames" Thursday, 10 p.m. features Desert Bus and a 9 year old with a gun who will bring tears of joy to your eye."
Looks like they're covering the video game violence thing.
Found a website with a clip:

Bullshit should be required viewing by everyone, particularly people who vote and make legislation.

HELL. YES.
Penn & Teller BS! = WIN
Hopefully they touch on how playing "Desert Bus" ... influences kids ... to drive a bus ... across ... the desert. *cough*
Lis and I were fortunate enough to see their show last year in Vegas, and to hang out with them for a bit after the show.
Penn. Is. Huge.
Teller, not so much.

Awesome preview, I wish I had Showtime. I looked for a torrent of the show, and there are just a few sporatic episodes to download.
I too had a chance to meet Penn and Teller after their Vegas show, great guys, too much talk during their show.

There's another site that has a preview of all of the topics that will be featured during the season. It has orgasms as a topic so NSFW. Jack Thompson is going to be in the episode. He says this quote related to Grand Theft Auto IV, “the greatest attack on children since polio”.
I guess if you look up that quote you'll find the preview video.

Penn is about 6'7" according to Wikipedia.
I've also seen their show in Vegas. It was fun. Apparently they have been ripping on Criss Angel a lot lately, due to his show at the Luxor bombing.

Ugh - why give that nutjob any more airtime? Just let him go away.

I don't agree with their stance on every topic, but they're always entertaining.
I'm looking forward to this.

Wow, that was very well done. The scary football statistics in the end are actually very frightening. I've never believed for one minute about games causing violent behavior.

That was a really great episode. I thought the part about where you see Harrison crying at the end after he shot the rifle was very catching.

That was the lock of the whole episode. Real guns are scary and loud and he met that understanding like a ton of bricks, excellent episode.

Free Showtime for the month of July with Uverse...so I actually got to see it. I think it would have been a little more effective had they picked a kid who didn't seem to have some mental issues. Seems like he doesn't have a dad around. Probably breast fed until he was 6. Just a weird little dude. Probably grow up to be a doctor or something...but a total introvert.
Struck a little too close to Michael Moore for me. They tell a good story, but clearly, imo, have gone into it with a preexisting agenda. As the "Dr. Smart Guy" in the show pointed out, that isn't how you approach research. Even when you're simply compiling research, as they did for the show, a preexisting agenda will skew the outcome. Example: The scene where the teens say gaming is a social activity. Penn followed with something about "Most gamers say it's social." Well, of course they do, they're the "victims" of gaming. Michael Moore does the same thing. You can't present your side of the story by only explaining why the other side is wrong. You have to also explain why you're right. The football statistics were very interesting, but, again, it was just another attempt to explain why the "wrong" people are wrong...never got too far into what makes the "right" people correct.
I do tend to agree that gaming is social, safe, and shouldn't be expected to create killers...but I don't think they made a show that will convince "the other side."

Right, But Penn and Teller have alway said they go in with a bias, they've even mentioned it in show before. You watch the show knowing that, to me, that's where the truth comes out. They are telling you they have an agenda, they stand for personal responsibility, choice and giving everything a second look, even their own show.

True, but this is one of those topics where you either stand at one end, or the other, there is no gray area, and it's extremely difficult to be impartial about it. Abortion is another great example of such a topic. I believe you'd be very hard-pressed to find a truly unbiased article or research on either topic. Nevertheless, I think there are valid points to be found in the BS episode, even if it is one-sided, so you can get something out of it.
