The only classic game store I know of, Video Games Etc., is going out of business. Do any of you know of any classic video game stores in the Nashville, TN area? Video Games Etc. may reopen and I will be back if they do, I've been a customer there for more than 3 years.

Woah - when did you hear this? Isn't one of the owners a DP member?

backguard, you're probably thinking of DreamTR's Game Galaxy store. His is the only store that I know of in that area (I want to go there one day while on vacation... but my sisters live like two hours east of there. :P)

Well, Sean Kelly has a store in Chicago that WAS named Video Games Etc. and that's who backguard is thinking of. But Sean's store is now apparently named Videogames Now and Then. I'm a bit confused.

Here is the confusion....
Video Games ETC is VERY far North of Nashville. There was one location near Hendersonville, and another a little further West. There was a THIRD that WAS opening in Lebanon, but I am not sure if that opened or not. That was last year.
These are owned by Sean Kelly's siblings, his sister and his brother. His sister's store closed. I did not know his brother's store was closing.
Sean Kelly's store was called Video Games ETC but changed for legal reasons but it's still the same company.
My store is called Game Galaxy. It is mostly an arcade, but we have a larger collection of classic stuff lately these days since EVERYONE is selling us stuff. We are located in Antioch, TN in the Hickory Hollow Mall very close to Nashville. We are in Davidson County, which is Nashville.

And here I am, stuck in Lenoir City (Loudon County), without a way to go bug you for cheap games. :P

Dang, I wish you weren't so far out. If you were near Memphis, I might be more likely to swing by at some point. My sister's family lives in Monroe, LA and from her house Memphis is something like four or five hours away. Nashville's something like three hours farther out. Bummer. A five-hour drive is about my limit nowadays.
