The Official Perler Bead Nintendo Thread

After seeing someone who made nintendo characters out of Perler Beads at the last NAVA, I remember that I had a ton of those beads from when my daughter and I use to make things with them. I looked online for some patterns and began making some. So far here is what I have made. I am currently working on a 3ft tall Mega Man which I will post pics up as soon as I am done with them.

We just made a ton more but those were the ones we started with. Do you have them up on the wall? What are you using to secure them?

That Glass Joe is sweet. How many boards did it take?

i may glu the backs to keep them tight, but their taped on the door and glass joe is on the wall with a push pin. also glass joe was about 5 or 6 boards. the maga man im working on has right now 12 boards

I've been meaning to do some stuff with perler beads, but I think that Starfox logo would look great out of legos. I'm not sure if I have enough legos to do it, but I'll have to see. What are it's dimensions in pixels?

skaar Im on the final fantasy kick right now making all the characters from the first one. I did make a mega man and i'm working on a huge mega man right now respectively.

I prefer to melt the beads closed.

Fighter Hayabusa (Pro Wrestling) got a bit warped on the bottom from over-heating but Alex is looking good.

Yeah those were ones that a couple board members wanted. I've done 1-3 at least twice now. What's really annoying is that the magenta-reddish color a lot of them use didn't exist back then and now there's one that looks a lot closer.
