Hello all, This is my first post here. I searched the forums for an answer to my question, and not finding any info, wanted to ask for your help.
I recently pulled my Colecovision out of storage and did the on/off switch cleanout/repair and cleaned all the contacts and games so everything worked great. My grandson's REALLY love the Colecovision, even though they play DS and Game Cube.
Here's my problem. When playing a two player game (say Donkey Kong), the #2 controller fire buttons will not work. It doesn't matter which controller is plugged in to port #2. Also, both controllers' fire buttons WORK PERFECTLY IN PORT #1. So, I don't think the fire buttons are the problem.
ALL pins are in place and firm (that is, cannot wiggle around) in both controller ports.
Would anyone have any suggestions on what the probem might be? I am pretty good with a soldering iron and would love to get the second controller fully working.
