View Full Version : Super Puzzle Fighter II PSP Glitch

Has anyone had trouble playing Super Puzzle Fighter II on the Capcom Puzzle World Collection? It keeps freezing up after the third or fourth level. I traded in my used copy for a new game, and it freezes up as well. Very frustrating.

Are you using OFW or CFW?

If recall there was a major issue with that game. It was said that capcom shipped it with known freeze glitches. I believe it was a update that came out that was never address and capcom never patched it. The price dropped quick after release. Tons of people stayed away from the game because of it. I memory serves

There were a lot of buggy copies of Puzzle Fighter for GBA as well.

I've never had a problem with the PSP Puzzle Fighter. I've got a phat PSP with custom firmware and it works fine.

Same here. I got a PSP 2000 (Jak/Daxter model) with CFW 5.00 and it works great.

My :oops:*edit* Playstation and Saturn versions never gave me any problems ...
... ah Puzzle Fighter.
There was a stretch of over a freaking year that my friends/roommates couldn't beat me, even if I used Dan, and we would play on a weekly basis.
I'm way way way out of practice now, but that was a legendary year of competitive gaming awesomeness.

I had nothing but problems with most of the games on that Puzzle Collection. They would either not load, or load and then freeze, which is a shame, awesome collection of games.
