View Full Version : How do you repair a AV Famicom pin connectors?

I have an AV Famicom that plays the 3 famicom I have fine. Now when I use a converter for NES games, it works sometimes and other times I have to tilt the cart to one side or another to make the connection. I opened the system and tried to gently bend the pins back, but decided against it. I didn't want to mess anything up. I was wondering how I could fix the problem.

I think that would work, but it'll entail desoldering the old slot and soldering this new one in.

Any thoughts?
