Anyone have some thoughts on the rarity / value of an item such as this?

It's unofficial, of course.

In other word, a bootleg.

No rarity or value can be asessed since it's not legit, something like that is fair game as far as price or maybe like $5-10 or so.

That sort of thing has no value, only a price. If one person makes a repro, so can anyone else. If it's not legit, it can't be legitimately rare.

So the only price is what you're willing to pay, or what someone else is willing to pay.

What you are paying for is the labor and parts making it

Most of the RPG repros for SNES go for around $100 or so. This is due to the large memory necessary for making one, along with a lot of other reasons (I don't know them, I don't make repros). NES are much cheaper, Genesis are in the middle.
