Today someone gave me a couple examples of Sega Genesis games and Super Nintendo games that have the same title but were like completely different games. They said Beavis and Butthead, Batman Returns, and Zombies ate my Neighbors were completely different I know ive played Zombies ate my Neighbors for the SNES and Genesis and i think there pretty much the same but he said that Beavis and Butthead for the SNES didnt have the Gwar tickets or anything. Is this true?

Beavis and Butthead for the SNES was transformed into a censored side-scrolling mess, with mediocre play.

The Scooby Doo game for the Genesis is markedly different (and better) than the SNES game

Frogger's a pretty good example. The Super NES version had ugly graphics and tiny characters, while the Genesis version was an accurate conversion of the original arcade game. I know which one I'd pick.

If somebody's looking for a good incarnation of Frogger on the SNES, they'd probably do better to check out Timon and Pumbaa's minigame collection cart anyways. Can't say what it was like myself, but hey, you can jump a meerkat across a river on logs...and ring a flower by the riverside. Sounds good to me, even if Nintendo Power says the hit detecton was off on that game.

Sparkster was different on SNES and Genesis.
