I just was at my local salvation army where I was shocked to find they had some atari games in. This was only the second time in 3-4 years that I have found any. I check the titles, nothing but commons. Only label that stands out is Racquetball. So, I grab that one and 2 others I didn't have. I go to check out and she tells me $2.99 each. As soon as I hear that I put them all back. I never pay more than $1 for atari game unless I suspect they are rare.
I get home and check how much the games are in the DP guide. Racqetball $6/R3, seaquest $6/ R2 and finally much to my suprise Track & Field $25/ R5+. :o I nearly pissed myself. :( I had it in my hands and put it back. The only reason I picked it up because it had a different label almost like 7800 cart but it sounds like any other dirt common cart.
I then proceed to drive back to see if it is still there. The hours are 9-7pm. I get there at 5:35pm. New sign posted on the door New summer hours open 9-5:30pm. >:( >:(
The only positive thing is that it could still be there in the morning since it was close to closing when I was there. I will be there at 9:00am!! >:(
The morals of the story: You only regret what you don't buy & The DP guide, Don't leave home without it!!
